Holiday weather in Malta
The climate of Malta is Mediterranean with typical hot, dry summers and mild, wet winters. Most of the limited annual rainfall occurs between October and April. Spring and autumn are pleasant times for a visit with warm, dry and sunny conditions but not overly hot. Temperatures are around 30C during the day and around 20C at night, occasionally temperatures hit 40C when winds blow from Africa.
Airport information
Malta International Airport (MLA) situated in Luqa is home to Air Malta. Air Malta has regular connections to destinations in Europe, Africa and Middle East. Cheap fares airlines Ryanair and Easyjet fly to and from Malta. Air Malta does not fly to or from North America at present so you need to connect in Europe. If you are going to Gozo there is the ferry from Malta to Gozo's main harbour.
