Getting there

Cancun International Airport (CUN) is located 23 kilometres (15 miles) south-west of Cancun city. A two-terminal airport, Cancun is busy and used by a number of domestic and international airlines. The new Terminal 3 handles almost all international operations of airlines from North America and Europe. Cozumel International Airport (CZM) with flights to and from mainland Mexico, together with international destinations, of which a large proportion are US cities. Cozumel's airport is located just 3 km / 2 miles to the north of central Cozumel.

The wet season usually starts in June and ends in October, making the dry season from November through May. In the wet summer it in reality rains most days.
