Holiday weather in Montenegro
Montenegro enjoys a typical Mediterranean climate, in summer the temperature rises to 30C in the cities and along the coast, while the mountainous areas are a milder 21C. Winters get cold with temperatures dipping to eight degrees and minus three in the mountains. This area is also much wetter than the coast and one of the wettest in Europe, especially from October to March, and sometimes snow.

Podgorica airport is Montenegro's major international airport. It is located 12km south of Podgorica. It is a centre for Montenegro's national airline, Montenegro Airlines. Tivat airport is located near to Tivat, on the coast of Montenegro. It has regular flights to major European destinations during the summer. Tivat airport is 20km from Budva.
