La Croix du Reh dates back to 1620, when, upon the orders of King Henry IV of France, an inn was built in the small village of Châteauneuf-la-Forêt in Haute Vienne, Limousin. Over the centuries, the building has been used for many different purposes as consecutive owners have adapted it to their times and needs. Now it is the site of a stunning chambres d’hôtes (bed and breakfast), which has meant that “La Croix du Reh” has come full circle to its original purpose – to give shelter to weary travellers. A warm welcome and good food await you at this delightful early 17th century manor house in the heart of region Limousin, the French lake district. There is much to see and do while enjoying your stay at La Croix du Reh our bed & breakfast, and we are always pleased to share our home with guests from all over the world.

For each guest, all prices include a wonderful Oh So French Continental Breakfast, whilst an indulgent four course dinner, that includes half a bottle of wine per person, can be purchased at an additional €29 (€45 between Dec 23rd and 3rd of January). Our pricing is very competitive and varies according to the number of people per room that you will have in your company. Since Christmas and New Year is very busy, there is a small surcharge for the festive season. ***From the 1 of January 2016 the French goverment has introduced Tourist Tax in Limousin area. Additional 0.50€ per adult per night will be charged on departure. Breakfast is included Baby cot is available at 10€. One person is charged 17€ per person per night in an extra bed.
