At the top of the Poggiogaio hill, our guest house (taking its name from the hill) rises into a spacious green and silent area, a very typical Tuscan landscape, a few steps away from the city centre of the enchantable Florence, from Galileo Galieli's house and from the famous Arcetri abstronomical observatory. The purpose-built unit "Poggiogaio" is composed of an old renewed villa with 4 independent apartments and of a detached cottage. All around the buildings you are provided of enchantable 3 hectars wide gardens, peaceful courtyards, private and common break places where you can enjoy the Italian Mediterranean sun, and a barbecue site for parties and funny evenings. And last but not least!: all biological fruit lovers can enjoy our fruit trees and jams! There is no time for boredom and no time for stress! We are waiting for you in our breathtaking property!! "Poggiogaio" lies on the South side of Florence, on a breathtaking hill upon the magic Boboli garden and at the same time 5 minutes by car away from the famous Piazzale Michelangelo. Another road on the other side of the hill links "Poggiogaio" to Porta Romana, where the ancient southern city centre walls rises. 200 meters from our guest house, you can find the bus stop (n° 38B) connecting to the historical centre and 15 minutes by foot you can find bus lines 12 and 13, taking to the main rail station Santa Maria Novella and to Campo di Marte rail station.

Rental notes: Our guests are kindly requested to book via e-mail at poggiogaio@alice.it, giving us their personal details, included telephone number and e-mail address, and a copy of the identity card. Moreover they are kindly requested to indicate both arrival and departure date and hour. Our tariffs are: HIGH SEASON (from March, 15th to October, 15th and from December, 15th to January, 4th): Apartment for 4 people/ daily tariff: 35 Euros per person; Apartment for 2 people/ daily tariff: 45 Euros per person; Apartment for 4 people/ weekly tariff: 175 Euros per person; Apartment for 2 people/ weekly tariff: 250 Euros per person. LOW SEASON (from January, 5th to March 14th and from October 16th to December 14th): Apartment for 4 people/ daily tariff: 32 Euros per person; Apartment for 2 people/ daily tariff: 40 Euros per person; Apartment for 4 people/ weekly tariff: 165 Euros per person; Apartment for 2 people/ weekly tariff: 225 Euros per person. Ps: 10% discount for 2 consecutive stay weeks; for longer periods ask for an estimation.

The villa is divided into two mirror parts with independent entries and gardens. At the ground floor we provide an apartment for 2/3 people with a wide living room and kitchen, WC and a comfortable shower room, large bedroom for 2/3 people. At the first floor we provide a large living room with cooking corner, a gallery with two beds and a corridor with two double bedrooms; then you can find the bathroom. Looking at the right side of the villa fasade, you find the "Rosa Bianca" (White Rose) apartment at the ground floor; and you find the "Palma" (Palme) apartment at the first floor, independent but linked by an internal stair, so they can guest by a big family or group, who can use this way half villa. Looking at the link side of the villa, there are the "Diospero" (Persimmon) aprtment at the ground floor, and the "Fico verdino" (Green fig tree) apartment at the first floor. The cottage is an independent building with a own gate, parking, two gardens and a paved area thought as a relax area. All kitchens have equipment to cook. The whole internal furniture in all apartments and in the cottage is handmade by us, the owners of the villa; we both are architects.

Outside Area:Our guest house is surrounded by 3 hectars large gardens, olive groves and fruit trees and the whole green area is enclosured by a walls and two gates.
