Among the green Tuscan hills the Fattoria di Villa Torrigiani is to be found in the hills of Montalbano, with incomparable views of the valley, home to the great cities of Florence, Livorno, Pisa, Montecatini and Pistoia - all within an easy drive of the Villa. Just 7 kilometres down the road is Vinci, home town of the great Leonardo. Set in the middle of 65 hectares of olive groves and woods, the Fattoria is a haven from modern traffic noise and fumes and offers complete tranquility. In September, we run Tuscan cookery courses, headed by local chefs and specializing in sauces and jammaking as well as sweets and cakes and more general Tuscan cuisine. These courses are available on special application.

The town of Montecatini is a mere 5 kilometres away and offers a wealth of facilities; trekking, bicycle hire, walking or horse-back riding. Just 7 kilometres down the road is Vinci, home town of the great Leonardo. Villa Torrigiani is a self-contained hamlet, with "cottages" of varying sizes, surrounding the main villa. Each "cottage" has been completely restored and furnished with elegant 18th century Tuscan furniture. Double Ensuite, Twin Ensuite, Triple Ensuite, Quad Ensuite, Private Apartment for 6 to 8 people. The "cottages" of the Fattoria come in various sizes, "bilocali" for 4 people, "trilocali" for 6 people; full linen service and half board are available on request.

Outside Area:The swimming pool is filled with sea water and falls away in a cascade towards the valley below, to give a splendid and uninterrupted panorama. Guests have exclusive access to Fattoria's own wine cellar and restaurant, as well as ample public rooms for entertaining and special events. The Fattoria produces its own organic products and serves authentic Tuscan dishes at candle-lit dinners under the portico or in the garden room. The Fattoria produces its own organic wines (Chianti), extra virgin olive oil, honey, vegetables, eggs and poultry.
