Cortijo Los Abedules has been converted from an authentic Spanish Cortijo, (Farmhouse) creating three comfortable and spacious apartments - La Higuera, El Olivo and La Parra We are a family run business offering self catering apartments intent on creating a comfortable, relaxing and peaceful environment to ensure you gain maximum benefits during your stay with us. We are happy to consider any periods of rental subject to availability. We are able to suggest numerous forms of activities within the Natural Park and surrounding areas.

The province of Jaén lies within Spain's most southerly region, Andalucia. Perhaps the greatest attraction is Europe's second largest Natural Park, the Sierra de Cazorla, Segura y Las Villas. Reaching to above 2000 metres in altitude, the range itself provides a refreshing change to the typical Mediterranean landscape of the region. Its appeal includes the cultural delights of the city of Úbeda and the towns of Cazorla and Baeza. The stunning mountain town of Cazorla is the gateway to the mountains and natural park. Travellers come here looking for rural retreats, local culture, walking, mountain biking and mountain adventure activities. Cortijo Los Abedules offers a unique opportunity to enjoy these. With randomly winding, steep, narrow, cobbled streets, the town of Cazorla is a great start to getting the feel of the area. Here you will find welcoming people, abundant examples of times gone by in the "Casco Antiguo" and plenty of shops within the newer, more commercial zone. The pace of life is very "laid back and chilled out", even by Andalucian standards!

Rental notes: El Olivo - 1 to 2 Persons - 60 euros or 3 to 4 Persons - 70 euros (Using sofa-bed). Add 10 euros if you require a fifth bed. La Parra - 1 to 2 Persons - 60 euros La Higuera - 3 to 4 Persons - 80 euros (Occupying 2 Twin Rooms) or 5 to 6 Persons - 100 euros (Occupying 2 twin and Double Room). Add 10 euros if you require a fifth bed. (Only for bedroom #2). A special discount of 10% is applied for stays of more than 10 nights

The accommodation is comfortable and individually furnished each equipped for self-catering. They contain a double or twin bedroom, built-in wardrobe, full shower room and a lounge / kitchen / dining area containing a double sofa-bed. All the accommodations are accessed independently from the front of the building with rear access to the courtyard and pool areas through the bedrooms. El Olivo is a spacious apartment offering a large kitchen/dining/lounge area, a separate bathroom with large shower and a large bedroom with twin beds, capable of accommodating an extra bed without jeopardising comfort. Sleeps 2 - 4 people using sofa bed or 5 people with extra bed. La Parra is a smaller compact apartment offering kitchen/dining/lounge area, a separate bathroom with large shower and a bedroom with double bed. Sleeps 2. La Higuera is a more spacious apartment with a large kitchen/dining/lounge area and offering up to 3 bedrooms depending on your requirements. All bedrooms are with en-suite bathrooms. Two twin bedded rooms and one double room. One of the twin bedded bedrooms is capable of accommodating an extra child's bed without jeopardising comfort. Sleeps 2 - 6 people, (plus extra child's bed if required.) Please note that any un-reserved bedrooms in La Higuera will be locked and access barred.

Outside Area:The original courtyard to the rear of the farmhouse, complete with its own well, has been landscaped with terrace and garden areas in which clients can relax and enjoy the serenity of the area. Each apartment has its own patio area with table and chairs. A 8.2m x 4.2m salt water swimming pool, a must for freshening up during the hot Andalusian summer months. The sun terrace above the swimming pool offers sunbeds for soaking up the sunshine to complete that tanning!
